Tanya: l’ultima volta che c’eravamo visti era a San Francisco, provabilmente nel 1999 o giù di lí. Avevamo bevuto qualche birra assieme, e forse più di “qualche“. È identica, a partire dall’accento, che la identifica sicuramente come Australiana doc.

Hey Mau, you still swear like a porter” (bestemmi come uno scaricatore di porto, come sempre) mi dice, abbracciandomi. Si è trasferita a Melbourne da Sydney, ha comprato casa vicino alla spiaggia, lavora in una IT company.

Mi ha pascolato giù fino a Sorrento (si, c’è una città sulla fine della baia che si chiama così) e Port Sea, per guardare tutta la baia e cogliere i colori più belli del mare, ma questo ve lo faccio vedere domani: oggi ancora qualche foto a spasso per Melbourne ….

About what remains when the journey slows down and the shutter finally clicks.
