Oggi piove, e, devo riconoscere, il Leopardi si sarebbe tirato una fucilata in bocca se fosse stato qui col maltempo, invece che a Recanati. Comunque e quantunque siamo all’ultimo giorno di lavoro in PNG, poi prendo la rincorsa e il primo balzo in aria mi porta da Port Moresby a Singapore (in 7 ore), poi l’allungo con un altro piede che mi fa toccare London (in 15 ore), e infine atterro a piè pari a Milano (in meno di 2 ore): considerando anche tempi di attesa, coincidenze, attraversamento di terminal, docce e altre abluzioni, in circa 30 ore sono a casa.

La fortuna è dalla mia, e, soprattutto, non mi consente di chiedere un visto per il Bangladesh da qualche parte in Asia senza aspettare almeno una settimana, quindi a Dhaka ci si va al prossimo giro, che ho come l’impressione di capire, sia veramente prossimo.

Tramonto sul ridente porto che vedevo ieri sera dalla finestra ….

About what remains when the journey slows down and the shutter finally clicks.
