E siamo a -2

Si, lo so che non è carino rispetto a chi sta iniziando una settimana di lavoro, ma tra 2 giorni me ne vado in ferie. Fa anche a me uno strano effetto, roba quasi da non crederci che stacco per un paio di settimane e, invece di dormire e recuperare i mesi di vagabondaggio planetario, salto su un aereo per andare prima nel nord della Thailand, e poi in Australia.

Il bagaglio è meno che minimalista: uno zaino di 10 kili, una macchina fotografica e 3 obiettivi, ma forse prima di partire ne lascio due a casa.

Ho intenzione di camminare, nuotare, scalare, surfare, arrampicare. Beh, si, anche di bermi un paio di birre!

Foto? Beh, io ….

It has been more than fifty years since I began traveling across the world — and the seven seas — for work or for pleasure, always with a Leica M camera close at hand. The camera has never been an accessory; it has been a constant companion, a way of observing, remembering, and making sense of the places and people I encountered along the way. I started keeping this kind of journal some time ago, not as a diary in the traditional sense, but as a space where images and words could meet. This is not a publication driven by schedules or algorithms. At times I disappear for long stretches; then, inevitably, I return with semi-regular updates. Publishing, for me, is a mirror of my state of mind and emotions. It follows my rhythm, not the other way around. You have to take it exactly as it comes. Every photograph you see here is mine. They are fragments of a life spent moving, looking, and waiting for moments to reveal themselves — often quietly, sometimes unexpectedly. This blog is not about destinations, but about presence. About what remains when the journey slows down and the shutter finally clicks.

      🙂 si, per qualche settimana saranno più gli squali che le acciughe a tenermi compagnia: spero vivamente di non entrare nel loro menu peró 🙂

        Nei tuoi peregrinaggi hai mai mangiato lo squalo putrefatto!
        Non è una battuta, ma uno dei piatti tipici islandesi…. che visto il sapore, gli lascerei senza rimpianti

        Se vedi uno che sta tentando di mettere olio e peperoncino su uno squalo dalle parti della Grande Barriera Corallina, puoi urlare in piedi davanti alla tv “io lo conosco!”
