La ciabattina infradito è usata dal 45% della popolazione semovente, ma la percentuale sale al 60% in caso si parli delle ragazze e al 95% nel caso di ragazze asiatiche secondo i dati diffusi dall’Istituto Vagnotz di Statistica: in effetti cosa aspettarsi da un posto che gode di 350 giornate di sole all’anno e il cui “tremendo inverno” raggiunge le temperature siberiane di 14/16 gradi (non sottozero).

Oggi ultima giornata a Sydney (domani sono in Tasmania): ho percorso a piedi da Town All a St.Mary, sceso a Woollomooloo Bay, risalito ai Botanic Gardens, proseguito fino a Opera House, Circular Quey e The Rocks, per arrivare nuovamente in zona Darling Harbour: direi un 8km di giro. Poi ferry fino al LunaPark, con un po’ di nuvole e qualche scroscio d’acqua.

Il venerdí sera gli Ozzies celebrano la birra con una devozione ammirevole: dal primo pomeriggio in poi i bar si animano socialmente e l’odore delle pinte diventa persistente addirittura per strada.

Non serve confermare che, come bevitori, sono i migliori al mondo.
