Rosso e Verde

Stamani i colori acido-artificiali dell’ora che precede l’alba mi hanno fatto dimenticare il frescolino-umidiccio che segnala finalmente l’arrivo di una stagione più consona al calendario: siamo a fine Novembre ma, fino a qualche giorno fa, pareva ancora tarda estate.

Ho provato a intavolare un discorso con Beria (il mio cane), ma la sua socialità è stata decisamente negativa mentre io gli raccontavo particolari del bel film di Scola su Fellini che sono andato a vedere ieri sera, con colpi rapsodici di sonno che sembravano tagli di karate sul collo.

Ho passato la giornata a parlare così tanto che la laringe stasera mi ha dichiarato guerra: la pianto qui e vado a dormire ….

It has been more than fifty years since I began traveling across the world — and the seven seas — for work or for pleasure, always with a Leica M camera close at hand. The camera has never been an accessory; it has been a constant companion, a way of observing, remembering, and making sense of the places and people I encountered along the way. This is not a publication driven by schedules or algorithms. At times I disappear for long stretches; then, inevitably, I return with semi-regular updates. Publishing, for me, is a mirror of my state of mind and emotions. It follows my rhythm, not the other way around. You have to take it exactly as it comes. Every photograph you see here is mine. They are fragments of a life spent moving, looking, and waiting for moments to reveal themselves — often quietly, sometimes unexpectedly. This blog is not about destinations, but about presence. About what remains when the journey slows down and the shutter finally clicks.

    Tempo adatto per dormire non per passeggiare…
    I colori sono stranissimi: la foto non è stata modificata, immagino… Bello il risultato!

      Buongiorno! Erano le 5:20 e stavo giá lavorando da oltre un’ora, il volume di attività che ho in Asia, unito al fatto di essere da sempre mattiniero sta cominciando a farmi scambiare per un metronotte, con il sarcastico entusiasmo di Beria.

      La foto non è modificata: sfrutto solo le differenti temperature di colore dei lampioni che fanno “impazzire” il sensore della macchina fotografica come se avesse assunto LSD …

    Anche la luce notturna dà colore,bella foto!
    I colpi di sonno come colpi di karate,mi hanno fatto tanto ridere ,scusami,ridevo per la battuta simpatica!
