Non è un gran periodo per scrivere, ancora meno per fotografare, è chiaro.

Sono un filino sommerso dal lavoro, e il fatto di essermene stato quasi tre settimane abbondanti fermo nella regione sabbiosa non ha comunque inciso in modo positivo sulla qualità se non in un buon incremento dell’attività sportiva.

Nuoto, pedalo, cammino, corricchio: è alla fine l’unico passatempo che ci si può concedere durante i mesi invernali da queste parti: la temperatura sta scendendo sotto i 30 gradi durante il giorno,  e quando entro in acqua alle 6 di mattina mi scappa quasi un brivido.

Stamani mi son preso anche mezza giornata di ferie, visto che poi devo passare quasi 9 ore dentro un aereo che mi porta in fondo all’Africa: avevo bisogno di fare due passi in tranquillità. Ho lasciato la macchina all’Heritage Park e ho cominciato a camminare lungo la Coniche in direzione dell’Emirates Palace, lasciandomi alle spalle il mercato di Al Mina.

Pochissime persone nella decina di chilometri che ho percorso in un paio d’ore. Qualche scatto per riabituarmi a sentire il rumore dell’otturatore …

About what remains when the journey slows down and the shutter finally clicks.
