Mattinata didattica (come del resto questo post, mi scusino in non-appassionati).

In giro per Little India e il suo Tekka Market a condividere qualche idea fotografica con qualcuno che si avvicina all’abitudine di diventare parte del contesto con il proprio obiettivo, e di essere accettato e integrato con i soggetti che si fotografa.

Bandite le lunghe focali (solo 35mm e 50mm sono consentiti sul full-frame, o i loro equivalenti sui sensori dei partecipanti al workshop), proibiti con ignominia gli zoom, e suggerite aperture di diaframma tra l’f1.4 e l’f5.6. Banditi gli scatti in abbondanza, anzi nessuno deve fare più di 25 fotogrammi in tutto, il che mi pare già un eccesso ma si giustifica con lo scopo del solfeggio fotografico.

Si, definiamoli “solfeggi in f” dall’indice di apertura del diaframma, esercizi di fotografia, ma con anche l’obbligo di saper raccontare la storia dietro lo scatto, il suo contesto e saper lasciare qualcosa in sospeso che dia spazio alla fantasia in quello che c’è stato prima di quell’istante di tempo fermato, e quello che avverrà dopo.

Un pomeriggio poi passato attraverso lo sviluppo del negativo digitale, nella ricerca critica di idee.

Foto? Ovvio, un po’ di volti al mercato, ma anche un’ape che vola …

They are fragments of a life spent moving, looking, and waiting for moments to reveal themselves — often quietly, sometimes unexpectedly. This blog is not about destinations, but about presence. About what remains when the journey slows down and the shutter finally clicks.
